He’s a player who has become a familiar name to many Arsenal fans, mostly because of the club’s reported pursuit of him.
Jean-Michael Seri was one of the standout players in Ligue 1 last season and has been linked with a move away from Nice all summer long.
It was believed that some of the top clubs in Europe would try to bring him in early on in the summer but as of yet, the midfielder is still at Nice.
That being said, French publication l’Equipe are reporting that both Tottenham Hotspur are interested in the player but have not yet made a bid.
The only Premier League club which has made a bid for Seri is, strangely, Swansea City who had a €17 million offer rejected.

It’s believed that Nice will eventually want a figure closer to €40 million for the man who scored seven Ligue 1 goals last season. Arsene Wenger is rumoured to be a huge fan of the player who would be a good addition to the Arsenal squad. Central midfield is an area which the Gunners will need to strengthen and it seems that Seri is available if the club want him.
