Arsene Wenger has gone for a much-changed lineup for this evening’s match against Southampton. Emiliano Martinez returns in goal and plays behind an entirely new back four of Carl Jenkinson, Gabriel Paulista, Rob Holding and this evening’s captain, Kieran Gibbs.
In midfield, Mohamed Elneny retains his place and plays alongside Francis Coquelin who was rested at the weekend. Aaron Ramsey gets a start in attacking midfield and the Welshman will support an attacking trio of Jeff Reine-Adelaide, Alex Iwobi and Lucas Perez. The Spaniard makes his first appearance for the Gunners since injuring his ankle in the last round against Reading.
