Super agent Mino Raiola has questioned Arsene Wenger’s transfer policy, claiming that the club has the money but they don’t have ‘the ba***’. The agent oversaw the transfers of Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Manchester United and represents some of the biggest players on the planet (via The Metro).
He’s not the first person to question Arsenal’s transfer policy and he certainly won’t be the last but Mino Raiola has had his turn to do just that. The agent represents some of the largest clients on the planet and very publically negotiated a massive fee for himself from the Paul Pogba transfer during the summer. Now he has given his two cents on Arsenal.
“It’s not just a case of spending the money,” Raiola told the Daily Mail. “It’s shouldering the responsibility of spending that money and saying, ‘yes, this is my man’.
“Arsenal have the money but do they have the ba***?
“I respect Arsene Wenger. He has a philosophy that says these figures don’t match what I want to do, so that’s OK.”
Wenger hasn’t dealt with Raiola very much in the past. The only player currently at Arsenal who is represented by the agent is youngster Donyell Malen who signed from Ajax last season.

Gooners shouldn’t read too much into what Raiola has said. It’s obvious that he will criticise clubs who don’t spend big on players, especially considering how much he personally made from the Paul Pogba deal. Arsenal are currently three places ahead of Manchester United in the Premier League table.
