It seems that Sunday’s match will be all about Jack Wilshere as Arsenal travel to his former club, AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League.
Few expected the midfielder to miss the next few weeks after seeing him limp off the field on Wednesday night but it seems that that will not be the case.
“From Wednesday night, we had of course Jack, who was injured,” Wenger said in his pre-match press conference.

“We had very good news yesterday morning. I saw him walking normally and his scan was good. He’s not out of the game on Sunday yet, so that is positive news.”
“It’s a big relief because sometimes we have a tendency to be a bit more dramatic than we should be. His ankles are good, we cannot say he has bad ankles now, but because of his history we always make a bit more of it.”
Wenger then went onto confirm the rest of his team news and provided a welcome update on Aaron Ramsey.
“We’ll have Ramsey back in the squad. We have an uncertainty over Ozil, who will have a test earliest tomorrow.
“That at the moment is a bit 50:50. All the other players will still be out for Bournemouth.”
It’s great to hear that Jack Wilshere should be fit enough to play from the off against AFC Bournemouth. As well as that, Aaron Ramsey’s return to fitness comes at a good time after the sale of Francis Coquelin.
