After victory in the Europa League on Thursday, Arsenal are back in Premier League action with Brighton travelling to the Emirates Stadium.
It’s a must-win match for the Gunners who are still getting used to the Thursday/Sunday schedule of Europa League football.
Now, Arsene Wenger has given his team news ahead of the clash and ruled Mesut Özil out of the clash with the Seagulls.

“Mesut Ozil will not be available for Sunday,” said Wenger in his pre-match press conference with what he calls a “very short-term” injury.
“Alex Iwobi might be available for Sunday, of course, Coquelin and Welbeck are not available.
“We have a doubt about Laurent Koscielny unfortunately and he will have a test tomorrow. It’s an achilles problem, it’s ongoing.
“I think everybody else should be available. Sead Kolasinac had some problems, but he is available. That’s basically it.”
It’s decent news on the injury front for Arsenal. Mesut Ozil will not be involved but he hasn’t featured much in the Premier League so far this term. On current form, Laurent Koscielny would be a bigger loss than the German so hopefully, the defender comes through in time for the game.
