Once the media circus surrounding the Alexis Sanchez/Henrikh Mkhitaryan has died down, Arsenal will have to focus on Wednesday night’s match.
The Gunners face Chelsea in a Carabao Cup clash with a trip to Wembley to play a final awaiting the winner.
The first leg finished 0-0 after a fine defence performance from the Gunners and after Saturday’s thumping win over Crystal Palace, there is more than a little optimism at the Emirates.

Now, Arsene Wenger has given another boost with some positives on the team news front.
“We might have Ramsey back in the squad – he has a test today,” Wenger said in his pre-match press conference.
“After that, we have the uncertainty over Nacho Monreal who came off during the game against Crystal Palace. Hopefully he will be available. He has a test this morning as well.
“Olivier Giroud’s a fraction short. Danny Welbeck is a fraction short as well.”
So, Aaron Ramsey could well be in the squad but this game comes too soon for the likes of Olivier Giroud and Danny Welbeck. We should see a strong lineup from the Gunners against Chelsea with their next Premier League match not for another week.
