There isn’t much excitement about the whole thing but Arsenal will play in an FA Cup semi-final on Sunday. The Gunners take on Manchester City at Wembley but considering the club’s recent problems, few supporters have the usual buzz ahead of such a big match.
Despite that, it’s business as usual from Arsene Wenger who has given his team news ahead of the clash.
“The latest team news from last weekend is that everybody should be available,” Wenger said in his pre-match press conference. “We have an uncertainty about Danny Welbeck, and Shkodran Mustafi is out. That’s it.”
Danny Welbeck was absent from the squad for the clash against Middlesbrough and Arsene Wenger confirmed that he could miss the trip to Wembley as well.

“He is a doubt for the semi-final, he will have tests today and tomorrow to see if he will be available.”
Also expected to miss the clash is the trio of David Ospina, Lucas Perez and Jeff Reine-Adelaide.
“Ospina is out and Lucas is still out,” Wenger went on. “They are longer-term injuries. Ospina could be back in 10 days.
“He [Reine-Adelaide] has got an ankle injury and is out for the rest of the season. It is not a future threatening problem, but it will take him six weeks so this season is basically finished for him.”
It’s rare to see this little excitement around a club with a trip to Wembley just a few days away. Circumstances at Arsenal are exceptional right now but the team needs to focus on the task at hand. It will undoubtedly be a tough match against Manchester City, especially considering the Gunner’s injury problems.
