There are just two matches left of this Premier League season and Arsenal need to win them both and hope other teams lose if they are to reach the Champions League next season.
The Gunners take on Everton on the final day but before that is a home tie with Sunderland and Arsene Wenger has given his team news ahead of this crucial match.
“We have a little problem with Koscielny from the Stoke game. We’ll see how he has recovered today,” Wenger said in his pre-match press conference.
“Koscielny has a little recurrence of his calf problem which kept him out against Southampton.

“Everybody else should be available. I left Gibbs behind on Saturday but he is available again. Oxlade-Chamberlain is still out.”
Aside from Koscielny and Oxlade-Chamberlain, there are question marks over the fitness of Alexis Sanchez. The Chilean limped off of the match against Stoke City and Wenger was asked about the star man’s availability for the Sunderland match.
“Alexis Sanchez will have a test today,” Wenger continued. “Yesterday it didn’t look too good, but with him you never know.
“He’s so keen. Maybe it was just a kick. It could be a possibility that he recovers for tomorrow.”
You get the impression that if there is a chance that Alexis Sanchez is fit that he will start against Sunderland. The Chilean wants to play every match and, if transfer rumours are to be believed, this could be his final appearance at the Emirates Stadium. Hopefully not but either way, it’s a must-win match for the Gunners.
