He’s become something of a forgotten man at Arsenal amid all the changes to the club but Laurent Koscielny could soon return to the first-team.
Before that, however, he is set to play for the under-23s next week but the Arsenal first team will have some injury problems of their own.
Nacho Monreal is set to miss up to two weeks after seemingly aggravating a hamstring injury he sustained last month.
“Today, we trained this morning with the players and they are okay,” Unai Emery said in his pre-match press conference.

“Only Danny Welbeck’s injury. It is a big injury and Nacho Monreal is not okay for Sunday. Laurent Koscielny is close to start with the group and start, little by little, taking minutes. That is good news.
“I forget also, Stephan Lichtsteiner is beginning to train with us but he is maybe not okay for Sunday.”
So, it seems as if Nacho Monreal will miss the next few weeks but that Laurent Koscielny and Stephan Lichtsteiner should return to the squad soon.
