Arsenal are set to welcome back Mathieu Flamini into the fold after his three match suspension, while Santi Cazorla is a major doubt after missing training on Friday due to an illness.
There is no return of Aaron Ramsey or Thomas Vermaelen however luckily there are no fresh knocks from the draw against Manchester United.
Arsene Wenger revealed the following team news at his pre match press conference:
[on the players coming back] We have only one player back, that’s Flamini. He comes back from suspension, not injury, so he should be fresh and available. That is the positive news we have.
[on any players dropping out] From Wednesday night I don’t think we’ll lose anybody. I have just been informed Cazorla is ill in bed today so he may not be available for Sunday.
The boss also discussed rotation for the Liverpool FA Cup fixture on Sunday:
I will play a team [against Liverpool] with a good opportunity, a good chance to qualify. Will I rest one player, or two or three? I don’t know yet. Certainly we will have just have one focus, which is to win the game.
We have rotated quite well, if you look at the number of players we have used. I have the same level of confidence in every player.

For example, I rate Jenkinson but Sagna has a bit more experience so when we go in a game with more pressure I give the advantage sometimes to the experienced [player].
But I have the same level of confidence in every player in my squad. I have a short squad but a very level squad.
