Arsene Wenger has confirmed that there will be a number of changes to his team for Sunday’s FA Cup trip to Nottingham Forest (via Arsenal.com).
After the hectic recent Premier League matches, Arsenal will now take a break from domestic action to take part in the third round of the FA Cup.
The Gunners travel to Championship side, Nottingham Forest for the tie, a side which has twice won the competition in its illustrious history.
Arsene Wenger has given his team news ahead of the clash and it’s not good news for Arsenal fans.

“Basically we still have the injuries we had for the Chelsea game, nobody will come back,” Wenger confirmed in his pre-match press conference.
“So, you have Kolasinac, Monreal, Giroud, Ramsey, Koscielny all out.
“It will be a similar group of players. Some of those who played against Chelsea will play again, but also some fresh players will come in.”
Wenger was then asked if we can expect some squad rotation from him on Sunday.
“I will rotate a little bit because we have also come out of a very high-loaded period,” Wenger went on.
“We played three big games in six days and twice we were away, followed by a big game at home. We have to keep our level of focus, of urgency, because the third round is very difficult especially when you play away from home against a Championship team.
“We play on Wednesday again, so I have to rotate a little bit.”
So, it seems that we can expect a mixture of youth and experience on Sunday. It’s a big match for the Gunners in a competition which they have dominated in recent years. Let’s hope we can secure our fourth FA Cup win in five years. To find out if we can get past the first hurdle, check out our live stream page for details on how to watch.
