Arsenal travel to Leicester City on Sunday and will do so without the services of Mikel Arteta and Kieran Gibbs. Aaron Ramsey will however after missing the midweek victory over Besiktas through suspension.
New goalkeeper signing David Ospina has joined his new team mates after overcoming his recent injury but could be too short to be included in the squad for Sunday’s Premier League fixture.
There is some more positive news for youngster Serge Gnabry who is apparently recovering well from his knee troubles, but is still a way off rejoining first team training.
Wenger revealed the following team news in his pre-match press conference:
Arteta will certainly be short for Sunday. Kieran Gibbs as well. I don’t think we have any injuries from Wednesday night against Besiktas. Ramsey is available again because he was suspended against Besiktas. He will come back into the squad.
David Ospina is now back to full training [and] is available again. Maybe he’s a bit short for Sunday but he’s back. Serge Gnabry is on a good way but is nowhere near to being back in the group.
