Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Tomas Rosicky is available for selection again after recovering from his hamstring injury, and there are new fresh fitness worries after the weekend’s 2-1 victory over Swansea.
The Gunners are struggling for wide players with all four of Wenger’s first choice wingers injured, but the return of Rosicky will help provide a more experienced option on the flanks and more depth in midfield.
Luckily there are no fresh injury troubles after Arsenal’s trip to Wales, with a tough home fixture against Napoli this week Wenger will need as many options available as possible.
The Arsenal boss revealed the following team news in his pre-match press conference:
[on the latest news] From Saturday’s squad everybody is available. Rosicky is back into the squad for tomorrow and is available again. He has recovered from his hamstring injury.
[on having Rosicky back] He can play in all the offensive positions and I’m very happy that he’s back because he is very influential in our game. I haven’t decided who will start and who will not start. But I’m very happy that he’s back in the squad.
