Arsene Wenger has confirmed his side haven’t picked up any fresh knocks from their 2-1 victory over Liverpool on Sunday, and welcomes back Tomas Rosicky to the squad for their UCL tie with Bayern Munich tomorrow evening.
The Gunners were able to rest a number of first team stars over the weekend, with both Sagna and Wilshere unused substitutes. The breather allowed a selection of players to be fresh for the vital first leg at Emirates on Wednesday night, and now Rosicky has also been added to the mix.
Arsenal do lose Mikel Arteta however as he is suspended for the tie, but the return of Mathieu Flamini to the mix over the weekend will go some way to ease the blow of missing the vice captain.
The Gunners boss revealed the latest team news at his pre-match press conference:
[on the latest team news] All the players have recovered from Sunday and we have no big injury from that game.
[on changes for the Bayern game] Arteta is suspended, Rosicky comes back into the group. So it will be the squad that played against Liverpool, plus Rosicky.
