The 21 year old striker has not featured for the Gunners since picking up a back injury in August but is set to be included in Wenger’s squad for the visit of the defending champions.
The Frenchman made his comeback to action for Arsenal’s U-21 side last week and could now feature against David Moyes side on Wednesday night.
The striker is the only new recovery with Thomas Vermaelen and Aaron Ramsey still out, while Matheiu Flamini is still suspended but will return for this weekend’s FA Cup tie with Liverpool.
Speaking to Arsenal’s official website, Wenger said:
We have no injuries from Saturday and we have Sanogo available as well. Everybody else should be available for [the United game]. As well there are no comebacks, people like Vermaelen, Ramsey are still out.
Sanogo arrived at the Emirates as a kind of an unknown quantity, having had amassed just 21 league appearances in his career, although he did impress in his last season with Auxerre, scoring 10 Ligue 2 goals in just over 900 minutes of football. He was also impressive as France won the 2013 Under-20 World Cup in Turkey, scoring 4 goals in 7 appearances to help les Blues win the coveted youth title.
He desperately needs playing time having spent so long on the sidelines but is unlikely to get too many first team opportunities between now and the end of the season. It appears certain Wenger will start him from the bench tomorrow as Olivier Giroud looks set to start for the Gunners in attack.

He is a talented forward and will prove to be a good long term signing for the Gunners, although his first season at the club did not exactly go as planned.
