The international break is over Premier League is back with Arsenal set to travel across London to take on Watford on Saturday.
The Gunners need to pick up where they left off before the break but they’ll have to do it without Shkodran Mustafi who picked up a nasty injury while on leave with his country.
“We lost Mustafi for about four to six weeks and I don’t think he’ll be available before the next international break,” Wenger said in his pre-match press conference.

“Ozil and Welbeck are back in the group in normal training.
“I haven’t seen everybody, because some players are coming back today and some are in tomorrow, like Alexis. The minor problem we have is with Sead Kolasinac. We’ll check him today – he has a hip problem.”
Losing Kolasinac would represent a major blow to Arsenal and along with the loss of Mustafi and injury to Laurent Koscielny, Arsenal have some problems defensively.
“Yes, I have. I think about sorting out the problem, but overall I will completely decide what I do tomorrow because Koscielny will have a test then.
“He worked quite hard physically, he looks like he is capable of playing if he survives the test. If he has no pain on his Achilles tendon, he can play. I will decide that tomorrow.”
So, it’s a bit of a mixed bag on the injury front for Arsenal. The Gunners face a winnable run of fixtures in the month of October ahead of a tricky run next month. Let’s hope Arsene Wenger will have his full squad available by then.
