Harry Redknapp says Arsenal would win the Premier League if they were to sign John Terry from Chelsea.
The Gunners are currently nine points off leaders Chelsea having lost their last two games, despite going ahead against both Everton and Manchester City.
The loss of summer signing Shkodran Mustafi to injury has been keenly felt by Arsene Wenger’s side and Redknapp feels the club should try and sign the Chelsea defender.
“I’m still a great John Terry fan. What he can offer in the dressing room and on the pitch, I think he’d be fantastic short term,” Redknapp told talkSPORT.
“Do you want to win the league? I’ll tell you what I’d do; go and take John Terry for a season. Play him at the back with Stones – he would learn so much from playing with John Terry week in week out.
“They took Frank [Lampard] who was a legend at Chelsea, I’d take John Terry all day for a season, he’d do fantastic for them.

“Arsenal would take him, he could win the league for anyone. Tottenham don’t need him, their centre-backs are strong at the back. He’s worth his weight in gold. Get someone alongside him with a bit more pace.
“John Terry reads the game, he’s a leader, he’s a winner, he’s good in the dressing room, he’s a captain – I’d have him all day long.”
Terry has made just seven appearances for the Blues this season who have switched to a back three of Cesar Azpilicueta, David Luiz and Gary Cahill to great effect.
Antonio Conte’s side have conceded just 11 goals in 17 Premier League games, largely without Terry, although he could be in line for a return to action after recovering from injury.
While Redknapp is, of course, entitled to his opinion the chances of Terry leaving Chelsea for Arsenal are pretty much non-existent, which is not a situation that will upset Gooners.
