The England striker netted an impressive hat-trick on Wednesday as he helped fire Arsenal to a 4-1 win over Galatasaray in the Champions League.
Cleverley has said that he is thrilled for Welbeck saying that he thinks people don’t appreciate the technical side of the forward’s game.
According to the Telegraph, he said:
Leaving United is definitely not the end. We both came up through the academy and were living the dream at the team we grew up at.
I always knew Danny would take his opportunity. I don’t think people realise how technically good and quick he is. I am not a big cinema person but I went the other night and missed his hat-trick!
Last year at times it wasn’t enjoyable and you play your best football when you’re enjoying yourself. I certainly am enjoying myself now, so hopefully that can show for Villa on the pitch.
The youngster is one of the hardest working strikers in the English game and it was because of that work rate that he scored the hat-trick. It is that work ethic of his which will pay dividends at a club like Arsenal and if he continues to work hard he will score because opposing defenders will simply not be able to keep up with the striker at times.

When he scores one he will score a few, but if he doesn’t I do worry that he’ll go a stretch of games without finding the net. I think the Englishman has a great chance to be Arsenal’s No.1 striker for a decent amount of time, but he does have to improve upon his efficiency in front of goal.
