Alexis Sanchez continued his trend of finding the back of the net in every game by opening the scoring against Watford, and player turned pundit Stan Collymore couldn’t help but take to Twitter to show his appreciation.
The former Liverpool striker branded Alexis “simply world class”, and claims he was the one who dragged us through our difficult spell.

Watford proved incredibly difficult to break down in the first half, and were well organised in midfield. Alexis kept pushing and giving 110% though, and it paid off when he was able to grab the first goal.
We arguably would have had a penalty even if Alexis hadn’t been there to pounce on the loose ball when Mesut Özil was fouled in the box.

He’s been absolutely superb in the last few weeks, scoring ten goals in his last six games. Collymore is right to praise him, and hopefully he continues to play the way he has been recently.
