On loan Arsenal star Wellington Silva could potentially line up alongside the likes of Olivier Giroud, Mesut Özil, and Alexis Sanchez next season, with the Brazilian recently being awarded a Spanish passport.
The 22-year-old was ineligible when we first signed him back in 2011, and was consequently farmed out on loan for several seasons. Currently plying his trade with La Liga side UD Almeria, he has finally been granted a work permit that could see him make the switch to the Emirates after all this time.
The tricky winger took to Twitter to show off his new passport, revealing how pleased he was with the result.
Lo bueno tarda en llegar, pero llega y lo recibo con la mayor satisfacción del mundo. Nacionalidad española !! pic.twitter.com/GWFo9wYWzB
