Yesterday we got our defence of the FA Cup off to a good start by beating Hull City in a replay of last years’ final. We won 2-0, a comfortable result considering quite a few players were rested. The highlight of the match however was the return of Theo Walcott. The English winger started his first game exactly a year after being carried off in the Cup tie against Tottenham. While the winger understandably looked rusty at times, he showed that he still has that pace and ability that he had displayed last season and hopefully he will be back to full fitness shortly.
Here is a collection of the best tweets regarding Walcott’s return, the Arsenal result and, of course, Wenger’s long struggle with his jacket zipper.
Great to watch arsenal tonight on the telly and see @theowalcott back and starting ! Delighted for him, seems like a nice man !

Understandably you can see the rust falling off Walcott's bike.

The signs are there. If Campbell and Walcott were match fit and on form, this would be 4 or 5.

Do you remember one time people seemed to agree with hansen that walcott lacked a footballing brain? how times have changed indeed.
