Happy New Year everyone. Well, not so happy anymore. I don’t know what Szczesny drank last night, but I sure could go for some of that right now. Today’s result was one of our worst ever, ranking up there with the Liverpool and Chelsea defeats. Rarely have we looked so helpless, and Wenger is out of excuses. He either has to go big in the transfer market, or go home.
Naturally, such an awful result on the first day of the New Year has irked the fans(to say the least). Here is a collection of some of the best Tweets so far as Arsenal fans vent their frustration and other clubs laugh. And point. There is so much good stuff out there I might even have to do a second Twitter post. But after I weep at yet another typical Arsenal performance. Enjoy.
Defensively Arsenal have been terrible in this game from back to front. I can't see Arsenal finishing in the top 4 this season.

What will the excuses be today? Tiredness? The ref? Injuries? The ball boy? Oil money? Roll up, roll up for the Arsenal excuse extravaganza.

Wow. We are embarrassingly poor today. The most worrying thing though, is that this is neither new, or a surprise. @Arsenal #SFCvAFC

33 points after 20 games is Arsenal's lowest points tally in the league since 1994-95 when they finished 12th.
