The mother of our U21 star Ainsley Maitland-Niles has been banned from the London Colney training ground, after allegedly assaulting members of the club’s staff.

According to the Daily Telegraph, she was accused of attacking one of the ground staff, as well as another person in attendance at a game in March, before appearing to strike Arsene Wenger’s chief negotiator Dick Law.
She was subsequently banned from the training facility, however she still turned up for their game against Aston Villa last week. The Telegraph report that once again, her behaviour was aggressive, and she threatened to remove her son from the pitch.
Despite the unsavoury incidents, Maitland-Niles is beginning to build an exciting reputation at our club. The 17-year-old made his first team debut against Galatasaray in December. Only Jack Wilshere has turned out in a Champions League game for the club at a younger age. In the same week, the winger would go on to make his Premier League debut in the win against Newcastle.
