Lorenzo Insigne is apparently feeling neglected at Napoli, and Arsene Wenger is keeping tabs on the Italian forward’s situation, according to the Metro.
We are badly lacking wide men, with Wenger often opting to deploy naturally central players on the wings. Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere have proved effective there at times, but we need players to stretch play against well organised defences.
The Metro claims Insigne is currently unsettled in Serie A, and feels unappreciated by the club. He has allegedly been hoping to hold talks with the club about the direction they are going in, but so far nothing has materialised.
His agent Antonio Ottaiano has spoken out on behalf of his client, and insists Insigne just wants some concrete answers about his future.
“His future is not certain. We’re waiting to get a sense of the club’s project and ambitions,” Ottaiano said, as quoted by the Metro.

“Also, and this is fundamental, whether the player is still part of their plans. He feels neglected.
“It’s a very simple matter, we’ve been saying for months that we’re expecting a meeting with the club to understand what projects they have.
“Insigne wants to know his future in detail.”
The 24-year-old is a truly talented forward, but has struggled for game time recently with Napoli. He could well prove an excellent squad player if he arrived at the Emirates, and Arsene Wenger may well be able to get the best out of him.
He is currently unsettled with Napoli and we could therefore acquire his services for a knockdown price.
