Aaron Ramsey and Nacho Monreal will be in the squad for Sunday’s trip to Goodison Park, and the Spaniard may have to fill in for the doubtful Kieran Gibbs who has an ankle knock.
Monreal has been out with an ankle injury also, but has returned just in time to offer Wenger an alternative to Gibbs who was excellent against Manchester City.
Ramsey’s return is a massive boost but we cannot expect to see him start after such a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Elsewhere, Serge Gnabry is set to miss this weekends crunch tie with Everton after sustaining a knee injury, however it was highly unlikely he would feature anyway. We wish him a speedy recovery.
Wenger provided the latest update on the team news after Friday mornings training session:
[on Ramsey and Monreal]
Both will be back in the squad for Sunday. Of course Aaron has been out for a long time and has just joined in [training] yesterday but he will be available.

[on any more team news]
We have a slight problem with Gibbs (ankle) and Serge Gnabry (knee) will not be available. But the squad should be stable compared to what it was against Man City.
