Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger joked that he will purchase a season ticket and become a fan at the Emirates Stadium after retiring, with the legendary boss heading into his final years as manager, he told BBC Sport.
Talk remains consistent regarding his future as Arsenal boss but after signing a new three-year contract last season (via Arsenal.com), Wenger’s immediate future with us is secure.
Following a period of financial prudence, the club has entered a new era and the boss seems hungry to deliver the two major trophies before he eventually retires.

The Champions League remains the most visible blemish on Wenger’s CV and the fact that the likes of Juventus, Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund have reached the final in recent years, winning the trophy is certainly not beyond our reach.
How fitting would it be for Wenger to sign off with the Premier League and Champions League trophies? It would be no more than he deserves.
