Arsenal stars Danny Welbeck, Laurent Koscielny, Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have labelled Mesut Ozil and Mathieu Flamini as the ‘biggest bromance’ in our squad after hilariously mocking the pair.
Anyone who observes the pre-match training pictures released on the club’s official website will have noticed that Flamini and Ozil seem inseparable.
Their relationship is even more interesting when you consider that there isn’t an obvious link between the two. Usually, players who speak similar languages or have shared a dressing room before bond naturally.
However, Ozil and Flamini share neither ties and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s assessment of their relationship was both hilarious and, quite possibly, rather factual.
“I think Flam just wanted to be friends with Mesut Ozil when he first come to the club if I’m being honest,” The Ox giggled.

“He seemed to latch onto him like a leech.”
Flamini is hardly a fan favourite and following his departure in 2008 when we needed him most, fans have never taken too kindly to his return in 2013.
The cynic in all of us might feel that the Frenchman believes that being best buddies with our record signing will prevent him from being shown the exit door by Arsene Wenger.
If we’re to sign a new midfielder this summer, Flamini should definitely make way.
