Arsenal midfielder Jon Toral is one of a number of our younger players who have been sent out on loan and the former Barcelona starlet is making a huge impression at Birmingham City.
Toral already scored a very clever header on his full debut and the 20-year-old added another to his tally in as many appearances with a sweet long-range strike against Burnley on Saturday.
During his time in La Masia, Toral gained a reputation for his goals from midfield and it seems as though he’s developed that over time.
Whether or not he has the personality to make a career with us remains to be seen, though Toral is certainly impressing in the lower divisions following his successful loan spell at Brentford last term.
Signed from Barcelona along with Hector Bellerin, the two starlets have experienced very different career paths over the last few years.
