The Welshman unleashed a thunderous effort with his weaker foot from an ambitious distance and saw his shot fire into the top corner with the Galatasaray keeper left clutching at thin air.
Ramsey netted a brace on that night but was left disappointed after picking up yet another hamstring injury which kept him out for a further month.
