Superstitious Arsenal fans will be somewhat concerned ahead of Chile’s clash with Peru this Wednesday, with star man Alexis Sanchez being cursed by Peruvian fans ahead of the World Cup qualifying clash, as reported by Goal.
The Arsenal star is in fine form at the moment, and after a slow start to the campaign he has managed six goals in his last three Arsenal games – not to mention a goal against Brazil in Chile’s last game.
Peru are obviously concerned about the threat Alexis possesses, and have looked to minimise that threat with a bit of black magic.
Check out the video below:
If you don’t believe in voodoo and black magic then these scenes shouldn’t concern you too much, if you do then you’d better get going with your counter-curses.
Hopefully Alexis himself doesn’t take curses too seriously, and comes through the game against Peru unscathed.

Arsenal transfer news
The former Barcelona star limped off injured during our last game, and Arsenal fans were hoping he would be used sparingly while on international duty. Chile’s manager clearly doesn’t share our concerns though, and kept him on for the full 90 minutes against Brazil. Hopefully he isn’t needed for the full game this Wednesday, and can get some rest for our game against Watford.
