Arsenal starlet Gedion Zelalem continues to impress during his loan spell at Rangers after he bagged a delightful assist for the Scottish side in a 5-0 victory against Queen of the South.
Zelalem’s loan to Rangers was always questionable given the quality of opposition he was likely to face on a weekly basis. Playing in the second tier of Scottish football, it is no surprise to see the young midfielder producing some delightful performances.
At the age of 18, this is Zelalem’s first loan spell since joining us three years ago and after making his debut at the age of 16 in the FA Cup, we thought that he’d be fast-tracked into the first team.

However, his progression hasn’t moved as quickly as Arsene Wenger may have hoped and after he was left out of the Emirates Cup squad, it became clear that first-team opportunities were going to be rare for the USA U-20 international.
