We have been heavily linked with a move for Real Madrid superstar Karim Benzema recently (via The Telegraph), with the Frenchman reportedly Arsene Wenger’s top target this summer.
It’s easy to see why Wenger is so keen on his compatriot too, with the international forward scoring a fantastic goal against Manchester City in Real Madrid’s recent pre-season friendly.
The ball was played in behind him, and it looked like a difficult one to deal with. He made the most of it with a rather creative effort though, giving Joe Hart absolutely no chance as it shot past him into the bottom corner.
Check out the goal below:
Benzema is a truly top class centre-forward and would almost certainly take us to the next level. We are already close to having a team capable of challenging for the highest honours, and the 27-year-old could be the missing piece of the puzzle.

It would be fantastic to see him scoring goals like these in an Arsenal shirt, so hopefully he follows his former Madrid teammate Mesut Özil to the Emirates this summer.
