After an indifferent start to his Arsenal career, this season was always billed as the one where Mesut Ozil would burst into the form which we know he’s capable of.
Admittedly we didn’t get off to the best of starts against West Ham United last weekend, but the whole team looked determined to put things right against Crystal Palace.
Not least Ozil, who completely dominated the game with his sensational passing, carving Alan Pardew’s team apart while also producing pieces of magic throughout the game.
In this particular clip, Ozil shapes to turn back to our own goal from the corner flag but produces a lovely Cruyff turn to completely bamboozle Pape Souare.

These moments were frequent too, Ozil produced a clever pass for Olivier Giroud to deliver a half volley which gave us the lead in the first half.
