Arsenal hero Theirry Henry appeared on Sky Sports News on deadline day and aimed to try and provide some context as to why Arsene Wenger has decided not to sign a single outfield player this summer.
In Europe’s top five leagues, we are the only club not have added a outfield player to our first-team squad during the entire transfer window.
While many are searching for answers, Henry has sought to offer some insight though his explanation is something we’ve come to except from Wenger.
For the Frenchman, Wenger has is own valuation of each player and despite what the selling club says, the manager will not be swayed.
Arsenal transfer news
Judging by Henry’s analysis, it becomes slightly worryign that Wenger is seemingly unwilling to operate in today’s market. When buying a player, it’s quite bizarre for us to place a price-tag on the player and expect the selling club to accept that.

When we’ve sold players in the past, Wenger has held out for the biggest fee, so why shouldn’t we expect other clubs to do the same?
