Joel Campbell has so far failed to make the grade at Arsenal and his future at the club is currently under scrutiny. He has struggled to impress in his fleeting appearances for us, but he seems to have no problems when playing for Costa Rica.
The 23-year-old was hugely impressive at the World Cup last year, which led many to believe he would be a success at the Emirates. And his talent was once again on display against Mexico in the Gold Cup, with the young forward going on a fantastic mazy run – which was so close to being finished off with a goal.

Despite a few brief glimpses of quality, it seems unlikely that Campbell will see much action at Arsenal this upcoming season. Arsene Wenger may be keen to farm him out on loan once again, or we could see him leave the club on a more permanent basis.
