Things weren’t looking great with 15 minutes to go in the North London derby this past Sunday afternoon, but that was before Kieran Gibbs had his say.
Having gone one nil down to Spurs we really weren’t at our best, and it was unclear where the goals were going to come from. This made Arsene Wenger’s choice to put Gibbs on for Joel Campbell a little questionable, as he’s not known for his goalscoring prowess.
The England international grabbed just his second ever Premier League goal just moments after coming on though, latching onto a Mesut Özil cross at the far post and firing past Hugo Lloris.
The stadium erupted, and Arsenal fans around the world jumped from their seats to celebrate.
