Arsenal finally took the lead in the Emirates Cup against Wolfsburg after a lacklustre first half with Theo Walcott latching onto Jeff Reine-Adelaide’s wonderful through ball.
The young Frenchman has certainly impressed on his full debut and his lovely play before picking out Walcott’s run was proof of his sensational ability.
Walcott, who missed a number of opportunities in the first half, was not about to spurn this chance and guided the ball past the onrushing goalkeeper.
The 26-year-old was shifted out to the right following the introduction of Chuba Akpom at the interval and his piece of play in this move may convince Wenger to play him there permanently.
