Young right-back Hector Bellerin opened the scoring as Arsenal play host to Liverpool, and moments later Mesut Özil made it 2-0 with a sublime free kick. Alexis Sanchez got the third right before the whistle, a venomous strike almost taking the back of the net off.

It was a quick start to the game, with Liverpool looking nervous and a number of mistakes creeping into their game.
We arguably should have scored early on, but Simon Mignolet pulled off a couple of top class saves.
Our 20-year-old Spaniard was getting forward well, and was linking up well with Aaron Ramsey. When the Welshman played him inside, he showed quick feet to get away from Alberto Moreno. His compatriot attempted to show him onto his weaker foot, but Bellerin accepted the challenge and curled a beautiful effort in with his left-foot.

Our lead was quickly doubled, when Liverpool gifted us a free kick in a dangerous area. Mesut Özil stepped up and lashed it goalwards, curling it towards the far post and past a helpless Mignolet. Their wall was poorly positioned, but Per Mertesacker and Olivier GIroud did their part by blocking the Belgian’s view.
We looked like heading into the half with a comfortable 2-0 lead, but Alexis Sanchez had other ideas.
A great flowing move saw the ball fall to the Chilean, and he drove towards goal – racing past a helpless Kolo Toure. He rifled a shot towards goal, and although Mignolet arguably should have done better, the power of the shot saw it blast past him and into the back of the net.
The game looks over already, but with the firepower Liverpool possess, we can’t afford to take our foot off the gas.
