Arsenal forward Chuba Akpom has certainly made his impression on Arsene Wenger in the Barclays Asia Trophy after completing a hat-trick against Singapore Select XI.
The 20-year-old forward started the game and was one of only a few players to complete the full 90 minutes as he hopes to experience more first-team opportunities next season.
With Jack Wilshere off the pitch, Akpom took our second penalty of the game after Jon Toral was fouled and slotted the spot-kick in the same corner as Wilshere did.
Moments later, good work from Hector Bellerin down the right-hand side resulted in a lobbed a cross into the penalty box, and Akpom rose to head home his hat-trick.
