Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is one of many Arsenal stars currently sidelined with injury, but there’s positive news on his return. The England international took to Instagram to update fans on his progress, and his “80-90% sprints” suggest he is extremely close to being back in action.
With a huge number of injuries coming all at once, our right flank has looked rather weak in recent weeks. We’ve had to rely on Joel Campbell to step up, and while the Costa Rican hasn’t been terrible, he has shown nothing to show he deserves a regular starting spot.
The Ox may not be the first name on the teamsheet – as Arsene Wenger has often opted to field Aaron Ramsey on the right wing this season – but he is still an excellent option to have.

The Daily Star‘s report suggests he should be back in time for our Premier League clash with West Bromwich Albion on the 21 November, but whether he’s ready to start is another matter.

Hopefully we’ll be welcoming back more than just the Ox, and the Star’s report suggests Hector Bellerin will be back as well. Our right flank would look a lot stronger with the two returning, so hopefully the international break gives them enough time to recuperate.
