Our injury problems just seem to keep on growing, with Laurent Koscielny the latest to be hit by the Arsenal curse. With a huge number of players already sidelined, the French centre-back looks set to miss our key clash with Bayern Munich due to a hip injury.
It was announced when the lineups were being discussed on BT Sport in the pre-match show, with the presenter revealing that the centre-back was consigned to the bench as a precaution.
It’s a real blow, not only to lose a player of Koscielny’s calibre, but that we are once again suffering our season threatening glut of injuries.

Thankfully we’ve got Gabriel Paulista ready to take his place, with the Brazilian more than proving himself so far this season. He’s become a real fan favourite, and has put in a number of excellent performances since breaking into the first team on a regular basis.

Arsenal transfer news
Hopefully it is nothing more than a precaution putting Koscielny on the bench, and you have to assume that if it was anything potentially serious he would have been out of the squad completely.
