Having only just recently returned from injury, Mesut Özil looks to be settling back into things quickly. He hasn’t forgotten all the support he received while sidelined however, and sent out a message on social media to thank all his fans for their loyalty.
The German World Cup winner took to Twitter to deliver his message, with a short clip of him thanking his fans.
The 26-year-old finally seems to be getting more comfortable speaking in English, something that will certainly help him continue to settle in London.

Özil has struggled at times since his record breaking move from Real Madrid, but has shown glimpses of the quality he possesses.
Our £42.5m playmaker may struggle to get straight back into the side with Santi Cazorla playing the way he has been, but his performance against Brighton in our 3-2 FA Cup win will certainly give Arsene Wenger something to think about.
He may find himself relegated to the bench against Aston Villa this Sunday, which just illustrates the strength in depth we have at the moment.
