Olivier Giroud is in the best form of his career, scoring in his sixth consecutive game and making it ten goals in ten games with a superb finish against Liverpool.
The Frenchman has been fantastic lately, and his form has inspired a run that has started people talking about us as title contenders.
He was excellent once again when Liverpool visited the Emirates this past Saturday morning, not only putting the final nail in the Merseyside club’s coffin, but performing well throughout the game as well.
The game was already over as we headed into injury time, but Giroud was determined to continue his fine goalscoring form.

He latched onto a pass from Alexis Sanchez, before cutting inside onto his favoured left foot. He rifled a shot towards the far corner from the edge of the box, Simon Mignolet flapping helplessly as the ball sped past him.

It was a superb finish, and you could see the confidence overflowing from the 28-year-old. His form could prove key to our FA Cup run as well as any potential title charge we may mount, so hopefully he can continue in this vein.
