Most are in agreement that Yaya Sanogo’s loan move to Crystal Palace is one that suits all parties. The young Frenchman is clearly a talented player, but is still far too raw and was unlikely to see regular first team football at Arsenal.
Having struggled for goals during his time at the Emirates, Sanogo didn’t take long to open his account with Alan Pardew’s side.
The 21-year-old grabbed himself a goal and an assist inside the first 20 minutes against Southampton in the FA Cup this past Saturday, and helped his new side to a 3-2 victory over the Saints.
He celebrated the win on Twitter after the game, reveling in the fact that some of the competitions giants had been eliminated.

His goal took a huge deflection before going in, but he is sure to receive a huge confidence boost from his performance against Ronald Koeman’s side.
Hopefully he can continue in this vein of form and really grow as a player at Selhurst Park. Pardew will be looking forward to regular celebrations like this…
