Brighton threatened to get back into the game with this strike, but Tomas Rosicky hit straight back with a thunderous volley.
There were hints of offside as well as a foul in the buildup for Brighton’s goal, but we should have played to the whistle and not allowed them the space to shoot.
It looked as though we could be facing a tense end to the game, but Olivier Giroud put a fantastic ball on a plate for Rosicky who leathered it past the keeper.
