West Ham travelled to the Emirates Stadium with quiet confidence that they could hop back onto the team bus afterwards with some points. Fortunately for us Arsenal supporters, that wasn’t the case. Arsenal romped to a 5-1 win with goals coming from Lukas Podolski, Olivier Giroud (2), Theo Walcott and Santi Cazorla. It was a stunning match. At half time it was 1-1 with West Ham very much in the game, however within the first 10 minutes of the second half, the match was done and dusted. 4 goals between the 47th and 57th minute would see Arsenal climb to 6th on the Barclays Premier League table and bridge the gap between them and 4th placed Tottenham Hotspur to just 4 points.
