Petr Cech has made his long awaited debut for Arsenal, with the former Chelsea man starting our Barclays Asia trophy final against Everton.
His first involvement was met with a cheer, despite the fact the Czech international simply received a back pass from one of his new teammates.
He was truly called into action late in the half however, with a headed effort pushed onto the bar by the 33-year-old. The flag was raised in the end, but Cech wasn’t to know that when he made the save.

He’s a top quality shot-stopper, and should prove a huge signing for us. He is still one of the best keepers in the Premier League, and the fact that we lured him away from Chelsea is a massive sign of intent.
