You can only think Wojciech Szczesny was imagining the ball was David Ospina or even Arsene Wenger, as he quite spectacularly bashed it out of the air on the volley.
Though as the video below shows, at least the Polish shot-stopper’s banishment from the first team seems to have given him time to perfect his golfing skills – as he demonstrated whilst taking a break from Poland training with Robert Lewandowski.
The two were joking around on a golf course, where the Bayern man teed up Szczesny by lobbing a ball in the air, before the Arsenal keeper whacked away without being asked twice.

Perhaps Szczesny should start taking his golf more seriously because it’s difficult at this moment in time to see just how he’s going to get back into the Arsenal first team without a David Ospina howler.
Greanted, given his daring style of play this could be just as likely as an incredible point-blank tip around the post but that’s neither here nor there.
Szcesny has only graced the FA Cup since his Southampton faux pas at the beginning of 2015 and although he’s likely to be sorry it seems Arsene Wenger has yet to forgive him – and perhaps we’ll see if Wenger is still smarting as we head toward the summer if certain newspaper rumours are to be believed.
