The Gunners are currently four points clear at the top of the Premier League table and also lead the way in their Champions League group after a flying start.
The English international admits that the Premier League is as competitive as ever and feels Arsene Wenger’s men have already begun to showcase their title credentials.
According to The Sun, he said:
A lot teams will drop points and a lot of teams have dropped points.
In the Premier League this year it’s so different – everyone’s beating each other. It’s the hardest league in the world.
We went to Cardiff and got a great result, they’ve taken a lot of points and will continue to take a lot of points from the big clubs.

I do believe that Arsenal will be up there at the end of the season.
We’ve got so much belief in each other, we trust each other and when you have that in the team, the manager senses that as well, and you’re going to push on and achieve great things.
The 24 year old also paid tribute to Arsenal’s new-found defensive stability, with the Gunners having conceded just once in six league games. He added:
We’re always going to score goals but the back five, even the players that have come in from the bench, have been absolutely solid.
That all comes down to the work the whole squad has done without the ball.
Arsenal have been in excellent form so far this season and are finally beginning to show some ambition by winning games in an efficient yet stylish manner. We have also developed an ability to beat the so called smaller clubs with relative ease and have also been very good against big name teams so far.
The biggest change has been the fact that we are not a one man team anymore as we used to rely too much on Fabregas creativity and Van Persie’s goals in recent years, but now we are a team full of capable players. The likes of Aaron Ramsey, Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud have been excellent so far and the defensive stability has also been one of the reasons for this brilliant start to the season.
The Gunners will now enter a period that will truly test our title credentials as they face an in form Everton at the Emirates followed by the mouth watering Manchester City and Chelsea clashes not to mention a trip to Napoli before visiting the Etihad. If Arsenal come through these games by picking up most of the points then we will have a great chance of winning some silverware this season.
