Lukas Podolski looks like he could well be on his way out of the club this summer, with Galatasaray looking a likely destination, according to the Evening Standard.
The Turkish side are clearly looking to strengthen ahead of the new season, and club president Hamza Hamzaoglu claims that – along with Andre-Pierre Gignac – Podolski is top of their list.
“Podolski and Gignac are both on out shortlist,” said Hamzaoglu.
“We have not yet entered direct talks.”
Podolski has been struggling for first team football at the Emirates, and it’s understandable that he might be looking for a move away from North London. He secured a loan move to Inter Milan in 2015, but didn’t fare much better in Serie A.

The game in Turkey may suit him a little better, and he will be looking for one final big switch heading into the twilight of his career.
His situation at Arsenal is unlikely to change, as there is plenty of top quality competition ahead of him in the pecking order. But will Galatasaray be the club to take him off our hands?
